Fintech Firm Aims To Launch Account Aggregation, Payments Mobile App; Plans Hong Kong Rollout

Singapore-based FinGo Ventures is partnering with account aggregation specialists  ahead of the launch of the mobile payments and bank account aggregation app FinGo in Singapore. Later, the app will be rolled out in Hong Kong.

The app is designed for clients to make payments and view multiple bank accounts on a single screen, an example of how mobile technology has been shaking up how people of all income and wealth levels handle their finances.

FinGo will be available on iOS and Android. FinGo's founders are Justin Teo and Jacob Lim.

Under the service, eWise aggregates and encrypts an individual’s financial data using its patented Personal Data Vault, which is stored on the user’s chosen device, for example a smartphone or desktop.

“For millennials, using a myriad of online platforms to manage payments and savings is tiresome. By presenting all the consumer's financial data simply, on a single interface and enabling payments to take place on the same platform, we’re catering for people on the go," Lim said in a statement.

Teo and Lim are former financial analysts, and graduates of Singapore Management University and Nanyang Technological University respectively.
